From October 18th to 21st a creative action project C.A.M.P. 2015 was carried out in Pärnu, Estonia that brought almost fifty young people from Estonia, Finland, Norway and Greenland to Pärnu, writes Eno-Gerrit Link in the newspaper Pärnu Postimees.
The main organiser of C.A.M.P. 2015 (Creative Action – Meaningful Performance), i.e. creative action, was the Pärnu County Government with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia. The project was also supported by the Pärnu Sütevaka School of Humanities, Pernova Educational Centre, the Council of the Gambling Tax, City Council of Pärnu, Association of Local Authorities of Pärnu county and Cultural Endowment of Estonia.
The objective of the C.A.M.P. was to offer students a creative possibility to study, by tying school classes and leisure activities with a specific theme.
This year’s event was called Astronomy of Fine Arts and attempted to build bridges between dance and gravity, music and astronomy, greasepaint and animation.
