Round-table on multidisciplinary cooperation in gender-based violence, Riga

Third roundtable was about “Opportunities and challenges in multidisciplinary cooperation
combating and preventing gender-based violence” in the beginning of November 2022 in Riga,
Latvia. The main aim was to discuss and share experience, ideas and challenges about information
exchange between different partners involved in multidisciplinary cooperation; levels, mechanisms,
procedures and legal aspects of multidisciplinary cooperation in each country, as well as practical
cooperation aspects i.e., building trust between involved partners, teambuilding initiatives,
managing common understating of the problem and its causes etc. Study visit to:

• Tukums city was organised in order to learn how the intersectoral cooperation to combat
  gender- based violence works in practice. How it is organised and implemented between
  different stakeholders (police, municipal social services) in Tukums city.
