Inspirational seminars for creative industries

Tuesday, 17 March 2015

Three international seminars for creative industries are to be held in Tallinn, Estonia in March and April. As last year, entrepreneurs from Estonia and the Nordic countries will be sharing their inspiration and experience with listeners at the Artis cinema.

The series of short-form seminars, which go by the name of 'inspirational lunches', represent a forum at which entrepreneurs can exchange experience and provide an opportunity for those taking part to find out about the latest international trends in creative industries. The first of the lunches will seek an answer to the question as to how and on what conditions you should sell your ideas to manufacturers. The following seminars will focus on cooperation between creative industries and IT and new business models. Attendees will get the chance to compare a range of views as well as to give and receive advice on the best ways of developing businesses and becoming more competitive.

The three seminars in Tallinn this spring will be followed by a similar seminar at the Finnish embassy in Rīga. The series will culminate in the creative industries financing forum in Tallinn in autumn.

Each of the inspirational lunches will be held at the Artis cinema in Tallinn from 12:00-14:00. The working language will be English. The participation fee of 6 euros includes lunch.

  • 31 March – 'Idea to Sell! How to Outsource Production?'
  • 14 April – 'Tested Innovation Model – Creativity + IT'
  • 28 April – 'Business Models Without Borders'
