The experts on the assessment committee of the Mobility Programme fo Culture recommend that applicants carefully review the terms and conditions of applying for a specific module, as well as the assessment criteria. In the case of the cooperation network module it is also recommended that applicants take the definition of 'network' into account and ensure that they conform to it in their applications.
The Nordic Mobility Programme for Culture was established in 2007 and was joined by Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in 2009. The Ministers of Culture of the Nordic countries and Baltic States decided earlier this year to extend the term of the programme for a further three years – from 2015-2017.
"Estonia's been pretty successful in previous years in applying to the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture, but the results of this year's application rounds are likely to be more modest for us," said Eha Vain, the cultural adviser with the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Estonia who is responsible for information and advice related to the support programmes in the country. She says that the terms and conditions of support should be thoroughly reviewed.
