Artist residency support – apply now or in two years!
Studios and ateliers seeking to obtain financial support from the Nordic and Baltic cultural mobility programme in order to host guest artists and cultural figures and provide them with working space need to act fast – once applications for this year close, no more will be accepted until 2012. The deadline for applications is 24 February 2010, and the next round of applications will not open until 2012. The Baltic States were able to seek funding assistance in order to invite and host guest artists and cultural figures in 2009 as an exception, but applications are now also being accepted from the Nordic countries – Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland. In addition to artist residencies, applications can also be made to the cultural mobility programme for funding for travel and partnership projects – the deadlines for these being 10 February 2010 and 10 March 2010, respectively. |
