VII Nordic Poetry Festival

VII Nordic Poetry Festival took place in Tallinn and in Rakvere, 4-5 May. The festival hosted 16 poets from eight countries who performed at seven venues. The Nordic Poetry Festival is Estonia’s as well as the Nordic countries’ most long-lived poetry festival in terms of renowned authors, geographical scope and strive for combining poetry with other forms of art.

This year poetry is combined with animation: seven Estonian animators interpret the poems of seven Estonian poets.
