Café Norden Narva – Finnish vs Estonian Education Finished

May 17th marks the beginning of a new event series Café Norden where we will have experts from all different fields talking about Nordic history, society, culture, values and traditions – all while enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

The first event in Narva will be held on May 17th at Vaba Lava Kohvik No2. We will be comparing traditional education vs innovation in the Finnish and Estonian education systems. What are the good and bad sides of traditional education? What are the results of changes at national level in the Finnish education system? Did the Finns really get the best result? Should we take over the methods of our northern neighbors?

The experts of the meeting are teachers from Finland – Vera Rytkönen and Elena Savolainen.
