The Nordic Council’s Session Finished

The Nordic Council’s 61 ^st Session will be held from 27 – 29 October 2009 in the Swedish Parliament (Riksdagen) in Stockholm.  The theme for the summit is the Nordic Region and the EU.

A high-level seminar titled “The road ahead – concrete steps against climate change”, organised by the Nordic Council, the Nordic Investment Bank and the Swedish presidency of the EU, will be held as part of the session. The seminar will form an introduction to the UN summit meeting on the climate change in Copenhagen in December.
The Nordic Council will also be awarding its annual literature, music, film, nature and environment awards at the session.
