New technology alone is no longer enough in the sports industry to beat the competition. Updates are being developed more on more on the basis of the needs and demands of users. That is why the
sports and recreational product industries are faced with the fact that they need to combine forces and look to the future efficiently, innovatively and with clear goals.
In order to provide the impetus for more effective and innovative user-centred cooperation, a seminar is being held in Lillehammer, Norway on 18 September 2009 titled “User-centred innovation in the sports industry – experiences and practice”. The event is primarily designed for companies and agencies that deal with sports, travel and recreational products, but will also be of more general interest to innovation enthusiasts.
The event is being organised by the Nordic Innovation Centre and Innoco AS.
The registration fee for the event is 750 Norwegian kroons (ca. 1300 Estonian kroons), which includes lunch.
More information and the programme for the day can be found here (in Norwegian).
