Estonian food culture, art and jazz music meet New Nordic Food Finished
Contact info: Triin Oppi (triin.oppi@norden.ee)
Never before has Estonian food been offered in Danish restaurants – but Rene Uusmees, the head chef at MEKK, has taken on the challenge, and found much in common in the way he and celebrated Copenhagen restaurant and art gallery Krebsegaarden interpret food culture. Food and art go hand-in-hand. As such, from late August, visitors to Krebsegaarden will not only be able to sample the best of Estonian cuisine, but also admire the work of such Estonian artists as Martin Saar, Meru and Navitrolla.
On 24 August, Estonian ethno jazz musicians Tuule Kann and Jaak Sooäär will be creating their own special atmosphere at Krebsegaarden on the zither and guitar. Estonian cuisine, art and music will be meeting New Nordic Food.
