Officials from all state levels and representatives of non-government organisations (NGOs) who would like to launch projects with the Nordic countries and expand their cooperation networks can apply for support to cover the costs of their transport and accommodation.

The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Public Administration is open to civil servants and other public sector staff who would like to organise study visits, work placement trips and network meetings in order to strengthen cooperation between Nordic and Baltic ministries, regional offices and local authorities. The deadline for applications is 30 March 2016.

Estonian NGOs interested in cooperating with Nordic NGOs can apply for support from the Grant Programme for Nordic-Baltic Non-Governmental Organisations. The deadline for applications is 15 March 2016.

The application process for both is electronic and in English. Although the deadlines to apply are in March, it would be wise to start preparing projects as early as possible, as finding partners may take longer than expected.

To find partners for the Public Administration Mobility Programme you can use the search function on the programme’s website at www.nb8grants.org. You can leave your own requests there and view the information left by others.

Cooperation support is only granted to projects that meet the terms and conditions set for applications, which is why they should be reviewed carefully. You can begin filling in the electronic application form immediately: the system will save any completed fields, meaning that later you can carry on where you left off. Applications are only considered to have been lodged once they are officially submitted by the project manager.
