Support to the creative industries is important to promote the diversification of economic activities in border areas in Eastern Baltics, the regions that today suffer from lack of employment opportunities and are economically underdeveloped. Organisation of the workshop is supported by the Council of Baltic Sea States and Nordic Council of Ministers.
